Over the past few years, Disney star Dove Cameron has become a household name in more ways than one (you can largely thank the incredible popularity of Descendants for that). Is Dove Cameron dating anyone? She appears to be single currently.
As of the time of writing, Dove appears to be single. Her Instagram shows no signs of a partner of any sort, and the actress has not spoken publicly about seeing anyone as of late. Some fans began to speculate that Dove was romantically involved with fellow actress Veronica St. Clair after a post on the former's page of them appearing cozy together.

In the flick, Dove and Veronica can be seen embracing in what appears to be an airport terminal. The star captioned the photo with "My girl, my world. Happy birthday from 8,000 miles away. Us, forever." As to be expected, some believed that this meant that Dove and Veronica are an item, but in fact the duo are just close longtime friends expressing their affinity for one another.

Dove Cameron previously found love in a fellow Disney celebrity: Thomas Doherty.
Dove dated Scottish actor (and fellow Descendants star) Thomas Doherty from December 2016 to October 2020, and for a while, it seemed like things were going really, really well. On her 24th birthday, she posted a since-deleted glowing Instagram caption about Thomas after he set up a series of birthday surprises. And we have to admit, he really did seem to have knocked it out of the park:
"17 hours of cake, crepes, balloons, flowers, water sports on a private boat/lake, arcades, pizza, ice cream, a whole laser tag course to ourselves (surprising me with loads of my friends/family, some of which I hadn’t seen in a year or more, all there to laser tag cause I f--king love it) finishing the day at my favorite little (secret) late-night cafe for apple cider and pool.” Whew. That’s a lot of partying.

And, of course, a lot of love was present too. Dove continued in the caption: “What I ever did to deserve this kind of love, I’ll spend my whole life wondering.” Say it with us, now: Awwwwwww!
Back in April of 2018, Dove even posted a since-deleted video of Thomas dancing to Beyoncé’s Coachella performance on Instagram. Someone commented, “Honestly, marry him,” to which Dove responded, “I’m gonna.”

The Disney star wasn't the only one gushing during the relationship, however. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Thomas was asked whether Dove was “The One.” He immediately got very smiley and agreed that she was.
He continued singing her praises, saying, "She is just the most incredible person I've ever met. I think people see her as so talented — because obviously that's her job, to perform and all the rest of it — but she's the most compassionate and the most patient and the most genuine, loving person I've ever met. And so kind and so generous. She's amazing. She really is."
Sadly, things didn't remain all loved-up between the duo for long.

Taking to Instagram in a since-expired story post in December 2020, Dove broke the news to fans that she and Thomas had split. "Hi all, we know there have been some rumors and confusion lately about the status of our relationship and we wanted to set the record straight," she wrote. "In October, Thomas and I decided to part ways. The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other and will remain friends. Thank you for allowing us our privacy in this time."
